FAQ
Short answers.
What is Tap In?
A weekly visibility system for people who lead people. Participants answer three simple questions, receive a personal Mirror, and leaders receive a clearer view of the patterns shaping their group.
Is Tap In a survey?
No. Surveys collect data to score people. Tap In returns a personal Mirror that helps participants recognize the response patterns they shared — and a Leader Summary that helps leaders see the patterns emerging across the group.
Is Tap In therapy or counseling?
No. Tap In is not clinical and does not diagnose anything. It is a weekly visibility system. The Mirror reflects patterns. People make decisions.
Is Tap In SEL or a coaching tool?
No. SEL programs teach a curriculum. Coaching tools give advice. Tap In does neither. It reflects what is already there so leaders can see more clearly and lead with greater understanding.
Is Tap In an AI tool?
AI helps recognize patterns. People make decisions. Tap In does not tell leaders what to do. It helps them see more clearly.
Do participants need accounts?
No. Participants tap in through one QR code. No login, no email required.
What do participants receive?
After three questions, each participant receives a personal Mirror, a question to sit with, and one thing to notice this week. Recognition only — no advice, no coaching, no diagnosis.
What do leaders receive?
A Leader Summary each Monday: here's what your people are trying to tell you — the patterns showing up, the part worth coming back to, and a question to sit with. What you do with that understanding is up to you.
How much does it cost?
$400 per year, per group. A group is one team, class, cohort, or congregation with its own weekly summary.
How often do people tap in?
Once a week is the default. The weekly summary is generated from that week's responses.
Can schools use it?
Yes. Schools, JAG cohorts, and classrooms all use Tap In with students.
Can athletic teams use it?
Yes. Coaches use it weekly with their teams.
Can churches use it?
Yes. Pastors and youth leaders use it with their groups and small groups.
Can businesses use it?
Yes. Owners and managers use it with their teams.
How does fundraising work?
Fundraising is for organizations. Schools, cohorts, teams, and churches can fund Tap In through local sponsors, donors, grants, or program budgets. See the Fundraising page for the options.
Is fundraising the same as the Ambassador program?
No. Fundraising is how an organization covers the cost of Tap In. The Ambassador program is for individuals who earn money by referring new groups. They are separate programs.
How do ambassadors earn money?
Ambassadors are individuals. They get a personal QR code and referral link. They earn $100 for every new group that signs up through their link, and $100 every time that group renews. See the Ambassadors page.
